Peterborough | £40,000 - £45,000 | 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract

The Role
We're looking for an experienced Electrical Technician to join our clients team in Peterborough. Based at their service centre, you'll build, wire, test and commission electrical systems for specialist water treatment equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and install electrical systems
- Wire and terminate electrical circuits
- Read and interpret electrical drawings
- Test, fault find and repair electrical equipment
- Configure instrumentation and PLC-controlled systems
- Commission electrical and mechanical equipment
- Carry out quality inspections and electrical testing (EIC, EICR and PAT)
What You'll Need
- City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical Installation (or equivalent) – essential
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience in industrial electrical work
- Experience wiring and fault-finding PLC-controlled equipment
Desirable
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing
- Passport to Safety (or equivalent)
