Wise Employment are looking for 2 Estates Caretaker Cleaners to join a fantastic organisation in Newton Abbot. This amazing opportunity is a Full Time Permanent role offering a salary of £24,953 a year, and you will be required to work 37 hours a week.
As an Estates Caretaker Cleaner your responsibilities will include:
- Cleaning communal areas, toilets and shared spaces
- Litter picking, waste removal and dealing with fly tipping
- Operating cleaning equipment safely
- Maintaining shrub beds and outdoor areas
- Completing compliance checks (machinery, ladders, vehicle, lighting)
- Ensuring safe use and storage of cleaning materials (COSHH)
- Reporting repairs, health & safety concerns and safeguarding issues
- Engaging professionally with tenants and the public
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Cleaning qualification, COSHH and Manual Handling training
- Experience in communal/office cleaning and waste management
- Experience in social housing (desirable)
- Able to manage your own workload and prioritise effectively
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible, self-motivated and team-oriented
- Current clean driving licence and use of own vehicle
- Basic IT skills (Microsoft Office) or willingness to learn
