We at Magnus Search are seeking a senior 360 recruitment consultant, with preferred experience in transport, logistics and distribution, to join a fast-paced, high-volume hiring environment. As part of our continued growth, we are looking to appoint a Senior Recruitment Consultant to join our Industrial & Driving division. This is a key hire for the business, offering the opportunity to take full ownership of a high-potential desk while playing a pivotal role in driving revenue and mentoring junior team members.
The Role
As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you will take full responsibility for developing, managing, and scaling your own desk within the industrial and driving sectors. This is a true 360 role with a strong emphasis on business development, client strategy, and delivering high-quality recruitment solutions across both temporary and permanent markets. You will operate with a high level of autonomy while also contributing to the wider team’s success, supporting best practice and helping to elevate performance standards.
- Leading the development and growth of a high-performing recruitment desk
- Building and managing strategic client relationships within industrial & driving sectors
- Proactively winning new business and expanding existing key accounts
- Taking detailed job briefs and delivering tailored recruitment solutions
- Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, from sourcing through to placement and retention
- Overseeing compliance, onboarding, and ongoing candidate management
- Maintaining a strong, high-quality pipeline of candidates across temp and perm markets
- Attending and leading client meetings, site visits, and review sessions
- Monitoring and driving desk performance, including revenue, pipeline, and activity
- Acting as a mentor and role model to junior consultants where appropriate
- Collaborating with internal teams to ensure consistent service excellence
What We’re Looking For
- 3–7+ years’ experience as a 360 Recruitment Consultant
- Proven track record of billing success and desk growth
- Experience within industrial and/or driving recruitment (highly desirable)
- Strong business development skills with the ability to win and retain clients
- Confident managing the full recruitment lifecycle at a senior level
- Commercially astute with a consultative, solutions-driven approach
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Resilient, self-motivated, and target-driven
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members (desirable)
