We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our client based in Maidstone to drive new business, develop key accounts and grow service contracts across a diverse range of commercial and industrial customers. The Role * Identify and secure new service and maintenance opportunities. * Develop relationships with commercial, industrial, public-sector and leisure customers. * Promote planned maintenance, reactive support, refurbishment and optimisation services. * Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through to contract award. * Attend customer sites to identify service and improvement opportunities. * Prepare quotations, proposals and tenders. * Work closely with engineering and service teams to deliver solutions. * Maintain a strong sales pipeline and accurate CRM records. Working pattern and Salary Monday to Friday - 8am-5pm £45,000 per annum plus company commission structure Skills/Experience Required * Proven business development or technical sales experience. * Experience within the water/waste industry, ideally with knowledge of domestic pump stations, treatment plants and tankering works. * Experience selling service contracts, maintenance or technical solutions. * Strong commercial, communication and negotiation skills. * Confident dealing with both technical and non-technical customers. * Able to identify opportunities and convert them into revenue. * Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities. * Full UK driving licence. Desirable * Experience working with facilities, estates, industrial, leisure or public-sector customers, including tendering and framework opportunities.
