Magnus Search are looking for a Technical Support and Application Engineer to join a fantastic company based in Ivybridge. This amazing opportunity is a Full Time Permanent Position where you will be working Monday β Friday 9:00 β 17:00, earning a salary between Β£43,000 - Β£45,000, along with some fantastic benefits such as Private Healthcare, Life Assurance, 25 days holiday + BH, opportunity for career progression within a Global Organisation and onsite free parking.
As a Technical Support and Application Engineer your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver pre- and post-sales technical support for soft starters and motor control products
- Review customer requirements and recommend optimal solutions
- Support product selection, commissioning, troubleshooting and training
- Assist sales teams with proposals, presentations and customer visits
- Build relationships with customers, OEMs and distributors
- Contribute to product development, marketing content and market insights
- Travel as required to support customers and events
To be successful you will need:
- Qualification in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (HNC/HND/Degree) or related discipline
- Experience in motor control, drives, or industrial automation
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
