We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative with forklift experience to join our team. The successful candidate will support the efficient day-to-day running of warehouse operations, including the safe handling, storage, and movement of goods using forklift equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a forklift truck (e.g. Counterbalance and/or Reach) safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading goods from vehicles
- Moving stock within the warehouse and ensuring correct storage
- Picking and packing orders accurately in line with company standards
- Checking incoming deliveries against paperwork and reporting discrepancies
- Assisting with stock control and inventory checks
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment
- Adhering strictly to health and safety regulations at all times
Skills and Experience
- Valid forklift licence (Counterbalance, Reach, or equivalent)
- Proven experience operating a forklift in a warehouse environment
- Good level of physical fitness
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good timekeeping and reliability
- Previous experience in a busy warehouse or logistics environment
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems
- Flexibility with shift patterns
Benefits & Hours of Work
- Mon to Thurs 745AM to 415PM and Fri 745AM to 330PM
- Hourly up to £13PH
