Our client, a leading high-street supermarket brand, is seeking experienced HGV Class 1 (Cat C+E) Drivers to join their growing team in Erith.
You will be responsible for delivering chilled and ambient goods to a large store network.
This is a 7-day, 24-hour operation, with all shift patterns and availability considered.
Shift Length: 10-15 hours
- Valid Cat C+E (Class 1) licence
- Valid Driver CPC (DQC) and Digital Tachograph Card
- Minimum 6 months Class 1 driving experience
- On-road driving assessment
All breaks are paid. Overtime applies after 45 hours worked per week.
Standard Pay: £20.00 per hour
Overtime: £24.42 per hour
Bank Holiday: £35.00 per hour
Nights (22:00-06:00):
Standard: £23.36 per hour
Overtime: £27.35 per hour
Bank Holiday: £40.86 per hour
Rates are applied based on hours worked within each rate band. A 10:00 start finishing at 23:00 (13-hour shift) would be paid as:
- ~4 hours at Day rate
- ~8 hours at Back rate
- ~1 hour at Night rate
