Job Description

Work Location: Mossend (ML1 4UY)

Job Role:

  • Completing multi-drop Home Deliveries into customers' homes
  • Working as part of a 2-person crew (either alongside an experienced driver's mate, or another driver)
  • Delivering a range of bulky household goods (White Goods, furniture, electricals etc.)
  • Completing between 20-30 deliveries per shift
  • Providing excellent Customer Service being friendly when delivering, calling ahead to customers etc.

Requirements for the role:

  • C1 driving license entitlement (7.5t)
  • Valid CPC & Digi Tacho card
  • No more than 6 penalty points (No DD/IN driving offences)
  • Physically fit. Lifting aids will be provided along with manual handling training, however the role will require you to lift heavy goods up flights of stairs and into customers' homes.
  • Friendly, polite nature; you will be the face of the business!

Shift Times & Pay Rates:

  • 0600 start time
  • Shift length will vary as the position is Job & Knock meaning that you finish whenever the deliveries are completed
  • Average shift length will be around 10-12 hours
  • Shift Pattern: Tuesday till Saturday 06:00 am, Sunday till Thursday 06:00 am

The position is on a temp-perm contract, meaning that you will work for Magnus Search to begin with before being offered a full-time contract with DHL after 12 weeks of working.

Full-Time Salary: £35k + OTE pa

Initial Pay Rate: £15.31 per hour
