My client is an award winning independent letting agent, which has been established for over 25 years. They pride themselves on providing a professional service to Student and Residential landlords and tenants from their busy high street office in Sheffield. Due to continued company growth, they have an exciting opportunity for a property manager to join their team.
Based within the property management department, the role involves working in a fast‑paced environment, managing your own portfolio of properties and acting as a point of contact, liaising with contractors, tenants and landlords on a daily basis.

Your Key Responsibilities as a Property Manager:
- Manage a portfolio of properties, delivering outstanding service to both landlords and tenants
- Conduct check‑ins and check‑outs, ensuring smooth and professional transitions
- Administer deposit protection and manage deposit returns
- Proactively resolve rental arrears, liaising confidently with landlords and tenants
- Work closely with the dedicated maintenance and repairs team to ensure works are completed efficiently
- Coordinate safety certifications and ensure full compliance across the portfolio
- Conduct property inspections and inventories and provide detailed landlord feedback
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records within the property management system
- Ensuring that clients receive legally accurate, practical and timely solutions/responses to their enquiries and problems
- Ensure your portfolio adheres to its legal obligations and compliance at all times
- Stay on top of changing lettings legislation, ensuring your knowledge and expertise is current and up to date
- Assist the lettings teams with ad hoc viewings as needed
What We’re Looking For in a Property Manager:
- Previous Property Management experience is essential
- ARLA qualification (desirable but not essential)
- Driving licence and access to own car essential
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail – you take pride in keeping everything running smoothly
- Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships
- A calm, solutions‑focused approach under pressure
- Confidence using property management systems and handling administrative tasks efficiently
