We are seeking a Senior Property Manager to join a leading independent estate agent in the Pontefract area, known for its strong reputation, supportive team, and high-performing office. Your role as a Senior Property Manager:

  • Ensuring clients receive legally accurate, practical, and timely responses to enquiries and issues
  • Managing the organisation of EPCs, annual Gas Safety Tests, and Electrical Installation Condition Reports, ensuring all properties remain compliant and liaising with landlords regarding any follow-up works required
  • Demonstrating a full understanding of industry legislation and ensuring compliance is maintained across the portfolio
  • Ensuring the department adheres to all legal and compliance obligations
  • Managing minor repairs, refurbishment projects, and insurance claims on behalf of landlords and tenants, liaising with approved contractors to maximise rental returns
  • Pursuing and collecting rental payments from tenants in accordance with tenancy agreements
  • Facilitating fair and prompt deposit resolutions and preparing properties for re-letting efficiently
  • Overseeing property visits and inventories, ensuring professionalism is maintained when dealing with landlords, tenants, and contractors, and ensuring reports are followed up appropriately
  • Handling complaints effectively and professionally to achieve satisfactory outcomes
