My client is currently managing 1800 units across their market-leading offices. As part of their expansion, they are launching a new office in Birmingham city centre, which already has an existing portfolio for you to step into. The company deals with top-end city centre developments, managing and advising high net worth international investors on their portfolios and future acquisitions.

This is a unique opportunity for someone who is well-placed in the Birmingham property market and can demonstrate excellent market knowledge to the growing investor portfolio. You will be working as a Senior Lettings Consultant or Assistant Lettings Manager and be looking for a clear roadmap to become a Lettings Manager within 6 months! If you are a self-motivated lettings professional, ready to lead from the front, build business, and step up quickly to a Lettings Manager role while building a lettings team around you, then this is for you. You will be trusted to bring my client's exemplary service to a new location, supported by their experienced London team.

  • £25k – £30k basic
  • £40-45k OTE with a 3-month guarantee and a bespoke commission structure ensuring retained OTE at 40-45k

Duties
  • Appraise properties for rental, advising on investment returns and marketing strategies for a global investor network
  • Communicate regularly with clients, advising and updating with their best interests in mind
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to investors, tenants, and buyers
  • Collaborate remotely with tenancy and sales progression teams
  • Negotiate offers between landlords and applicants
  • Negotiate price adjustments with landlords
  • Manage client onboarding and takeovers
  • Conduct pre-marketing property inspections
  • Respond promptly and professionally to tenant leads and inquiries
  • Qualify applicants, understand their requirements, and match with suitable properties
  • Register applicants on CRM and maintain tenant database according to SOP
  • Schedule and conduct viewings, securing rental offers on favorable terms
  • Work collaboratively with wider teams
  • Achieve KPI results aligned with company goals
  • Ensure smooth team operations
Experience Needed
  • Previous experience as a Senior Lettings Negotiator or above
  • ARLA qualification or equivalent preferred
  • Knowledge of Birmingham city centre development market
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to liaise with high-net-worth investors
  • Excellent negotiation skills, well-spoken and well-presented
  • Proven track record in driving business, managing risk, regulation, and generating new business
  • Ability to motivate, manage, and lead by example
