A rare opportunity for an accomplished Lettings Manager to join a highly regarded independent Estate Agency based in the flagship Birmingham city centre branch, managing the lettings business across their 2 Birmingham branches. Known for their relationship-led approach, our client is on the hunt for a driven, standards orientated natural leader to drive the lettings division to greater success.

Duties:
- Drive and grow lettings revenue through a considered, proactive approach
- Attend and convert high-quality lettings valuations
- Oversee the growth of the lettings portfolio
- Manage the onboarding of new instructions and marketing of new stock
- Anticipate market trends and business needs, adapting strategy accordingly
- Recruit, train and develop a dedicated lettings team
- Support and guide the team to achieve both individual and branch goals
- Lead from the front, fostering a professional, collaborative and high-calibre culture
- Review and refine processes to enhance efficiency and performance
- Conduct regular 1:1s, recognising individual and team success
- Build, nurture and maintain long-term relationships with landlords and key stakeholders
- Manage and resolve escalations with professionalism and discretion
- Report on performance, revenue and forecasting
- Contribute to discussions with the wider leadership team on business growth, changes and ideas
- Remain fully up to date with lettings legislation and regulatory changes, ensuring the team operates to the highest standards
Experience Needed:
- Proven experience in a Lettings Manager or Head of Lettings role
- ARLA qualified or equivalent (preferred)
- Polished communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Confident negotiator with a professional and credible presence
- Demonstrable experience leading and developing teams
- A consistent track record of growing lettings business and market share
- Strong understanding of the lettings process and current legislation
- A natural leader who sets standards and leads by example
