An exciting opportunity to join a well-established, independent, family-run lettings business with over 14 years’ experience in the market. Professional yet relaxed in culture, this is a company that values trust, autonomy, and teamwork over pressure-driven targets. With offices in Solihull and an expanding presence in Birmingham, the business manages a substantial and high-quality lettings portfolio across the region and are looking for a Lettings Negotiator to be based out of their Solihull office but happy to be out and about working in the Birmingham city centre lettings market for much of the day.

Lettings Negotiator role – What’s in It for You?

  • Competitive Salary – £25-30,000 basic DOE
  • Team based monthly commission structure
  • Monday to Friday role – No more weekends
  • 20 days bank holidays

Your Role as a Lettings Negotiator:

  • Responding to and managing your enquiries in the morning, arranging viewings.
  • Work collaboratively with the lettings team to achieve branch goals and being active in all aspects of the lettings process.
  • Processing tenant applications and liaising with referencing providers.
  • Conduct property viewings, around Birmingham city centre, gather feedback, and negotiate tenancies with landlords and tenants.
  • Oversee smooth move-ins, ensuring properties are fully prepared.
  • Maintain strong relationships with both landlords and tenants, offering expert guidance throughout the process.
  • Keep up to date with new legislation and ensure the company adapts policies where necessary.
  • Play a key role in strengthening the brand in the local market.

Who We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in a Lettings Negotiator role is essential.
  • Sales & customer service experience – you’re a natural with people!
  • Organised, proactive and comfortable working independently.
  • Strong knowledge of the lettings process from enquiry to move in.
  • Strong IT skills, including experience with Microsoft Office.
  • A full driving licence & access to a vehicle.
  • Ambitious, motivated, and eager to progress in the ever evolving world of lettings.
