We are recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing estate agency seeking to appoint two additions to their lettings team. We are open to applicants ranging from Lettings Negotiator through to Assistant Lettings Manager level, with responsibilities tailored to experience and seniority. Duties
- Registering and qualifying prospective tenants
- Conducting property viewings
- Negotiating offers between landlords and tenants
- Managing the lettings process from enquiry through to move-in
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with landlords
- Generating new business opportunities and supporting portfolio growth
- Keeping applicants updated throughout the rental process
- Ensuring compliance with current lettings legislation and company procedures
- Working towards individual and team targets
Additional Responsibilities (For candidates joining at Assistant Lettings Manager level)
- Supporting the Lettings Manager with the day-to-day running of the department
- Conducting rental valuations and converting opportunities into instructions
- Assisting with coaching, mentoring and developing team members
- Identifying and securing new business opportunities to grow the lettings portfolio
- Playing an active role in winning new instructions and increasing market share
Experience Required
- Previous experience within residential lettings
- Experience as a Lettings Negotiator, Senior Lettings Negotiator, or Assistant Lettings Manager
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to build rapport with landlords, tenants, and applicants
- Target-driven and commercially minded approach
- Organised with excellent attention to detail
- Full UK driving licence preferred
Benefits
- £27,000 - £32,000 basic salary depending on experience
- Uncapped commission structure with realistic earnings of £8,000 per annum on top of basic salary
