We’re looking for an Analyst with 1-2 years’ experience to support data-led client projects across brand, marketing, and commercial strategy. This role is ideal for someone with early B2B marketing, research, or analytics experience who is ready to step up. You’ll bring strong quantitative and qualitative literacy, confidence in handling data, and the ability to layer on a strategic perspective – spotting patterns, interpreting meaning, and shaping insight-driven recommendations. You’ll work closely with our Partners, Consultants, Strategists and other Analysts, contributing to research, analysis, and high-quality deliverables. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to support client projects
  • Analyse data, identify patterns, and contribute to insight generation
  • Support competitor, audience, market, and commercial analysis
  • Build and validate datasets, ensuring complete accuracy
  • Support commercial modelling, benchmarking, and marketing performance diagnostics
  • Fact-check and quality-assure all numbers and sources
  • Create clear, structured slides that flow logically and tell a compelling story
  • Support the development of reports, frameworks, and strategic recommendations
  • Maintain Magnus’ high standards for detail, clarity, design, and rigour
  • Work closely with senior team members to translate analysis into strategic direction
  • Contribute to internal IP, templates, and methodology development
  • Join internal sessions or client calls to strengthen consulting skills

Technical Skills

  • Excellent Excel capability and confidence in manipulating datasets
  • Excellent in PowerPoint, with ability to build clean, well-structured slides
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics and general marketing analytics tools
  • Experience with SEO tools, CRM platforms, or research tools is a plus
  • Comfortable experimenting with AI tools to improve accuracy and efficiency
  • Exposure to CRM systems such as HubSpot or Salesforce is a plus

Analytical & Strategic Thinking

  • Understands core B2B marketing principles and commercial drivers
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent quality control instincts
  • Curious, proactive, and eager to deepen analytical and strategic capability

Client & Team Collaboration

  • Primarily internal-facing, with opportunities to observe or join client sessions
  • Supports consultants with analysis, materials, and operational input
  • Enthusiastic team player who contributes positively to project momentum

1–2 years’ experience in B2B marketing, analytics, consulting, or research. Ideally a degree in marketing, business, data, or equivalent experience. Experience working with both quantitative and qualitative data. Evidence of producing accurate, insight-led outputs.
