Our growing Managed Services client based in Tolvaddon are looking for an office-based IT Support Technician to act as the first point of contact for the service desk. You’ll be supporting multiple organisations with various environments, operating systems and hardware, support senior engineers on project work and carry out maintenance on server and networking hardware.
IT Support Technician responsibilities:
- Customer service support - act as the routine contact point, receiving and handling requests for support.
- IT infrastructure - deploying, configuring and operating IT Infrastructure.
- Systems installation and removal - Installing and testing, or decommissioning and removing, systems or system components.
- Security operations - delivering management, technical and administrative services to implement security controls and security management strategies.
- Network support - providing maintenance and support services for communications networks.
- Application support - delivering management, technical and administrative services to support and maintain live applications.
IT Support Technician background and experience:
- Experience in a service desk or support role.
- Microsoft 365 Admin Centre.
- Supporting Windows Client OS.
- Supporting Microsoft Office.
- Active Directory tools.
