What will you be doing?
- As an Electrical Technician, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring electrical systems are maintained, reliable, and compliant.
- Working closely with your team and wider site operations, you’ll deliver both planned and reactive maintenance, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
- You’ll be trusted to interpret maintenance requirements, contribute to corrective actions, and support installation activities in line with established regulations and designs.
- Deliver routine and preventative maintenance activities as guided by your Team Leader.
- Respond to breakdowns and carry out corrective work to minimise downtime.
- Support electrical installations in line with IET Wiring Regulations and approved designs.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure safe, timely delivery of work.
Who are we looking for?
You’re a qualified and capable Electrical Technician who thrives in a hands-on environment. With a solid technical foundation and strong practical experience, you bring both competence and confidence when working across a range of electrical systems. You enjoy being part of a team, communicate clearly, and take pride in delivering work to a high standard.
To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- A recognised electrical apprenticeship or technical training, along with qualifications aligned to Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline and certification to the 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations.
- Proven hands-on experience across electrical maintenance, installations, and fault-finding on diverse equipment.
- Strong knowledge of electrical safety standards, including Electricity at Work Regulations.
- Experience within a nuclear or highly regulated environment would be advantageous.
