Magnolia House Surgery is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Salaried GP to provide fixed‑term maternity cover beginning in August 2026 for a 12‑month period. The post offers 4‑6 sessions per week with flexibility available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Provide high‑quality, patient‑centred care as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Conduct routine and urgent patient consultations.
- Manage long‑term conditions and review investigations.
- Prescribe medicines and make referrals.
- Contribute to quality improvement and the ongoing development of the practice.
- Support team continuity of care and collaboration.
Person Specification
- Experience of working in a primary care environment.
- Experience of continued professional development.
- Experience of QOF and clinical audit.
- Minimum of two years as a salaried GP.
- General understanding of the GMS contract.
- Experience of medicines management.
- Experience of ICB initiatives.
Qualifications
- Qualified GP.
- MRCGP.
- Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent JCPTGP.
- General Practitioner (Certificate of Completion of Training CCT).
