Weβre recruiting a highly experienced Air Conditioning Engineer for long-term night-shift contracts across the London Underground network.
Ongoing work with an established M&E contractor, supporting the installation of new air-conditioning systems on live LU sites.
Location: London Underground Network
Hours: Night shifts (22:00β04:30)
Contract: Long-term / ongoing
Rates: Subject to experience
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a rail or similar safety-critical environment (preferred)
- NVQ Level 2/3 in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration (or equivalent)
- Valid F-Gas certification
- Strong installation experience (split systems, VRV/VRF, pipework & plant)
- ICI / LU induction desirable β can be booked if required
- Rail-safe, reliable, and team-focused
Responsibilities:
- Installation of new air-conditioning systems
- Pipework, plant installation & equipment mounting
- Pressure testing, evacuation & commissioning support
- Working to drawings, RAMS & LU safety procedures
- Maintaining high standards of workmanship and safety
