The predicted salary is between 32150 - 35950 Β£ per year.

Geophysicists (Workshop Supervisor) support the company’s technical operations and facilities management by working on, and supervising, associated projects and tasks. Activities may cover a broad range of IT, electronics, facilities, equipment maintenance and development, or other workshop-related tasks.

Capacity for fieldwork should average 40-50% of the time, with an emphasis on non-standard projects or staff training and development, as necessary. Geophysicist (Workshop Supervisor) are responsible for ensuring their office-based and fieldwork activities hit or exceed targets and deadlines. In the field, they are responsible for leading the planning on survey strategies during fieldwork, including large, complex, and non-standard projects.

Additionally, Geophysicist (Workshop Supervisor) will play a key role in staff development and training. This role will also entail line management and/or mentoring of junior staff.

Requirements

  1. Minimum of 3 years experience in the Heritage, Geology or Geophysics sectors.
  2. Competent and experienced geophysical surveyor, with demonstrable experience of successfully supervising teams on site.
  3. Full UK manual driving license.
  4. Willingness to work outdoors in all weathers & away from home.
  5. Self Motivated and Driven.
  6. Eligible to work in the UK without restriction.
