Our client is a high-growth, venture-backed AI company transforming how the insurance industry operates. They’ve built an AI-native platform that redefines decision-making across the full policy lifecycle — enabling insurers to move faster, make smarter underwriting decisions, and drive better outcomes in an increasingly complex risk landscape (climate, cyber, etc.). Backed by top-tier investors and operators from some of the world’s most successful SaaS companies, they’re scaling quickly and looking for exceptional talent to join the journey.
This is a highly impactful, customer-facing engineering role where you’ll sit at the intersection of product, engineering, and delivery. You’ll work directly with customers to deploy and optimise the platform, solving complex technical challenges and ensuring successful implementations from end to end. This is a hands-on role — ideal for someone who enjoys coding, problem-solving, and working closely with users in a fast-paced, startup environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Partner with engineering and delivery teams to implement the platform for enterprise customers
- Work cross-functionally to design, build, and deploy technical solutions across the full lifecycle
- Own customer implementations — from discovery and solution design through to deployment and post-go-live optimisation
- Write and debug production-level code (Python, JavaScript, SQL) for integrations and internal tooling
- Identify opportunities to automate workflows and improve internal and external processes
- Act as a trusted technical partner to customers, ensuring a seamless delivery experience

- 5–8 years in a technical, customer-facing role (e.g. FDE, Solutions Engineer, Implementation Engineer, or similar)
- Strong coding ability in JavaScript and SQL (Python a plus)
- Experience working directly with customers on complex technical implementations
- Comfortable operating across engineering, product, and customer environments
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to navigate ambiguity
- Experience in high-growth startups or fast-paced environments is a strong plus
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Why Join
- Early impact — work closely with leadership and help shape how the platform is deployed globally
- High ownership — own end-to-end implementations and influence product direction
- Strong backing — well-funded with proven leadership from top-tier SaaS companies
- Cutting-edge tech — AI-native platform solving real-world, high-stakes problems
- Fast-moving, collaborative culture with a strong focus on learning and impact
