About the Role
The Sourcing Manager is responsible for implementing sourcing and negotiation strategies to finalize and execute Statements of Work (SOW) for the Professional Services and Construction Services categories. This role involves defining category or SOW-specific strategy plans, leading the sourcing process, and managing a portfolio of procurement and negotiation activities for services contracts
What You Will Do
• SOW Lifecycle Management: Manage SOWs from drafting to finalization, negotiation, and execution.
• Sourcing Strategy: Identify and implement appropriate sourcing strategies based on the opportunity.
• Competitive Sourcing Events: Drive competitive sourcing events and support the vendor selection process.
• Proposal Evaluation: Evaluate and analyze supplier proposals, and negotiate contracts and SOWs.
• Implementation Planning: Drive planning and execution for identified purchasing opportunities within new or existing suppliers and solutions.
• Supplier Knowledge: Maintain knowledge of suppliers within categories for opportunity identification and business case development.
• Stakeholder and Vendor Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Change Management: Identify change management opportunities and develop recommendations.
• Contract Creation: Work with the contracts department to create agreements/contracts/standing orders with successful vendors, using corporate contract templates or other approved methods.
• Business Contract Analysis: Analyze the details of the client\’s business contracts with its supplier base to ensure equitable terms and proper notification on terms and expectations.
• Contractual Provisions: Assist in the preparation of contractual provisions and the administration of contract proposals.
• Contract Queue Management: Manage the contracts queue, update systems/platforms with notes, maintain version control of documents, and assist clients in preparing and negotiating contract specifications and SOWs.
• Document Examination: Examine, review, distribute, and negotiate NDAs, PSAs, and amendments to contracts.
• Team Contribution: Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
What You Will Need
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in analyzing, negotiating, and processing contracts, SOWs, and change orders.
• Proven ability to create and execute effective sourcing strategies and plans.
• Experience in drafting and negotiating SOWs.
• Experience in related fields such as Supply Chain.
• BS/BA in related discipline strongly desired (i.e., Supply Chain, Business, etc.).
• Master’s Degree a plus.
Certification in Supply Chain Management (CPM or CPSM) is a plus.
• Understanding and demonstrated use of Vendor Management Systems and e-sourcing (highly desirable). Project Management experience. Experience in the telecommunications industry (desired).
