About the Role
*This is a remote position based in the UK or Ireland only*
The Bid Manager will be a high-production role writing, editing and project managing RFP/RFIs that come from prospective and existing clients. The Proposal Team supports Sales and Client Services by understanding the buyer\’s needs and creating winning proposals that are customized and tailored to the decision maker. The ideal candidate for this job is an experienced Bid/Proposal Manager with a demonstrated ability to write effective, concise and compelling content with high attention to detail. The ability to work as a team and to get accurate, high quality information from all proposal stakeholders to produce proposal collateral is essential.
What You Will Do
- Manage and write persuasive and detailed proposals. Responses include both qualitative and quantitative information.
- Follow RFP Process guidelines to effectively create and manage all production timelines while meeting internal and external deadlines.
- Manage team-wide initiatives to improve processes and create efficiencies.
- Provide peer-review of RFPs as needed.
- Collaborate with Global Solution Design, Client Services and Sales team members as well as subject matter experts throughout the firm.
- Assist in updating and maintaining content management system (Responsive, formerly RFPIO).
- Support in the creation of creative content, presentations and media to support in the response.
- Project Management of the RFP process, coordinating a global team of SMEs.
What You Will Need
- 5 plus years relevant experience in proposal (RFP) writing.
- Experience in contingent workforce management services or technology solutions highly desired.
- Strong project management skills; high attention to detail.
- Superior English business writing and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills; ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships.
- Ability to work within a matrixed team to produce results.
- Creative problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor\’s degree in related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
- APMP Certification preferred.
- PowerPoint Skills (or alternative Creative Platforms).
- Ideal candidate will have a familiarity with Responsive (formerly RFPIO) and Salesforce.
