We're looking for an experienced Netcool Monitoring Platform Engineer to join a leading global banking organisation, supporting and enhancing critical monitoring and event management services across a large-scale technology estate.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and support IBM Tivoli Netcool Omnibus (NOI)
- Manage ObjectServers, Probes, Gateways and WebGUI
- Maintain monitoring, alerting, correlation and suppression rules
- Support platform upgrades, patching and lifecycle management
- Investigate incidents, platform failures and integration issues
- Perform root cause analysis and implement improvements
- Support ServiceNow and third-party tool integrations
- Develop automation scripts to improve operational efficiency
- Work with Infrastructure, Network, Cloud and Application teams
- Maintain platform documentation, standards and procedures
Key Skills & Experience
- Strong experience with IBM Tivoli Netcool Omnibus (NOI)
- Hands-on experience with ObjectServers, Probes, Gateways and WebGUI
- Event management, alert correlation and suppression expertise
- Experience supporting enterprise monitoring platforms
- ServiceNow integration experience
- Scripting knowledge (Python, Shell, Perl or similar)
- Strong incident management and troubleshooting skills
- ITIL knowledge and experience working in operational environments
