A global banking organisation is seeking a middle office Loan Operations professional to join their Credit Middle Office team. This is a hands-on contract role supporting the onboarding, administration, and lifecycle management of corporate and syndicated loans using Loan IQ.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review loan agreements from an operational perspective and provide feedback to Front Office teams.
- Extract key data points from agreements and book loan facilities, credit lines, and collateral into Loan IQ.
- Log and manage updates for fees, margins, maturities, and other lifecycle events.
- Support System of Record processes and ensure compliance with internal governance and control standards.
- Assist with amendments, extensions, and ongoing servicing of loan facilities.
- Collaborate with Front Office, Credit, Legal, and Technology teams to resolve operational queries.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements within loan administration workflow.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Strong Loan IQ experience, ability to build deals within Loan IQ is essential.
- Previous experience in corporate lending, syndicated loans, or loan operations.
- Solid understanding of the loan lifecycle and banking operations.
- Experience reviewing and interpreting loan documentation.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail, organisation, and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Experience in Banking / Financial Services environments (essential).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
