About the Role
We’re partnering with a leading global banking organisation to hire a Senior ServiceNow Engineer to join their core platform team. This is a critical role focused on enhancing and expanding the organisation’s ServiceNow GRC / IRM capabilities, working closely with the Platform Manager and senior engineering team.
You’ll play a key role in driving the design, development, and optimisation of ServiceNow IRM solutions, ensuring robust governance, automation, and alignment to best practice across a highly regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for ServiceNow, with a focus on GRC / IRM modules (IRM, BCM, TPRM)
- Lead the design and development of complex ServiceNow solutions, aligned to business and regulatory requirements
- Translate business needs into scalable, automated technical solutions
- Own technical governance, ensuring adherence to best practice and maintaining strong platform health
- Manage enhancements, integrations, and platform upgrades, including testing and deployment
- Drive continuous improvement, identifying opportunities to enhance automation, efficiency, and cost savings
- Support audit, risk, and security requirements across a regulated environment
- Collaborate with global stakeholders across Technology, Risk, and Operations
- Oversee work delivered by junior and offshore team members
- Ensure high-quality documentation, processes, and training materials are maintained
Key Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years ServiceNow engineering experience within enterprise environments
- Strong expertise in GRC / IRM modules (BCM and TPRM advantageous)
- Proven experience supporting end-to-end ServiceNow implementations and enhancements
- Strong understanding of risk management frameworks and regulatory environments (financial services preferred)
- Experience ensuring alignment to ServiceNow best practices and platform governance
- Ability to work across technical and business stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on automation and optimisation
- Familiarity with frameworks such as ITIL / COBIT
- Relevant ServiceNow certifications highly desirable
- Experience with DORA or similar regulatory frameworks is a plus
