A leading global financial services organisation is looking for a Senior Backup & Storage SME to take ownership of its enterprise backup and storage platforms across EMEA. Working closely with the Head of Storage, you'll provide technical leadership, ensure the resilience and availability of critical data services, and support the strategic roadmap for backup and storage technologies within a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support enterprise backup and storage platforms across EMEA.
  • Provide SME expertise across backup, storage and data protection technologies.
  • Monitor backup performance, resolve issues and improve system reliability.
  • Support disaster recovery, business continuity and regulatory compliance.
  • Drive platform upgrades, automation, capacity planning and continuous improvement.
  • Produce technical documentation and collaborate with infrastructure, security and project teams.
  • Deputise for the Head of Storage when required.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Strong track record with enterprise backup solutions within Financial Services.
  • Strong knowledge of Dell EMC Networker, Rubrik, EMC Unity, EMC Isilon, EMC ECS and Cisco SAN Switches.
  • Linux (RedHat) administration experience.
  • Background in enterprise storage, backup, disaster recovery and capacity management.
  • Experience within large, complex enterprise or financial services environments is highly desirable.
  • Strong troubleshooting, stakeholder management and technical documentation skills.
