We are partnering with a leading global bank undergoing a significant business transformation programme and are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to support the delivery of a large-scale integration initiative across EMEA. This high-profile programme will deliver the integration of two established banking entities and requires an accomplished project professional with experience leading complex, cross-functional change within regulated financial services environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving delivery across multiple business workstreams, including Middle Office, Treasury and Human Resources, ensuring successful execution against programme objectives, governance requirements, timelines and budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of complex business and technology change initiatives, managing multiple workstreams across a large-scale transformation and integration programme.
  • Drive project planning, governance, RAID management, executive reporting, and stakeholder engagement to ensure delivery against agreed scope, timelines, budgets, and strategic objectives.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and third-party vendors, facilitating steering committees and governance forums while managing risks, issues, dependencies, and change impacts.
  • Support integration, migration, business readiness, process improvement, and operating model change activities to ensure successful delivery and adoption across the organisation.
  • Ensure all projects are delivered in accordance with regulatory requirements, internal controls, and established project management and governance frameworks.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Proven experience delivering large-scale transformation, integration, merger, migration or change programmes within banking or financial services.
  • Strong understanding of banking operations, ideally across Middle Office, Treasury and/or Human Resources functions.
  • Demonstrable experience managing complex stakeholder environments and influencing senior leadership.
  • Experience operating within highly regulated financial institutions and structured governance frameworks.
  • Strong programme and project governance expertise, including RAID management, steering committees and executive reporting.
  • Proven track record managing project budgets, resource allocation and delivery planning.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience delivering both business and technology change initiatives.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining focus on delivery outcomes.
  • Banking merger, acquisition or integration programme experience.
  • Day 1 readiness, cutover planning or post-merger integration delivery.
  • Experience working across multiple international locations and cross-cultural teams.
