We represent a leading global banking organisation, looking to hire a Team Assistant/Executive Assistant into their fast-paced Global Technology function. The Bank has a strong international footprint and a reputation for operational excellence, innovation, and stability. The Technology division plays a critical role in enabling business strategy, supporting senior leadership, and delivering secure, scalable solutions in a highly regulated environment.
Role Purpose
The Team Assistant will provide high-quality, proactive executive support to multiple Senior Directors and Managing Directors within the Senior Technology Leadership Team. Operating in a fast-paced environment, the role requires exceptional organisation, sound judgement, and the ability to manage competing priorities while supporting the division’s strategic objectives. The business are keen for this role to transition into a permanent role for the right individual so motivations for prospective candidates must be aligned.
Key Responsibilities for Team Assistant:
- Provide proactive executive support to 3–4 senior technology leaders in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Manage complex diaries, prioritising meetings, resolving conflicts, and ensuring senior leaders are fully prepared with all materials in advance.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel, including flights, hotels, ground transport, and visa arrangements, responding effectively to last-minute changes.
- Oversee expenses, travel approvals, and leave requests, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing.
- Coordinate meetings, events, and visitor logistics, acting as host where required and ensuring seamless delivery.
- Handle highly confidential and sensitive information with discretion and sound judgement.
- Draft clear, professional communications and support effective information flow across the senior leadership team.
- Support onboarding for senior hires and provide ad-hoc administrative support as required.
