We are looking for a hands-on Solution Architect who will design and oversee the core technical architecture of TrustVerify’s next-generation fraud prevention engine. You will be responsible for end-to-end system design, scalability, compliance alignment, and modular integrations, ensuring that the platform can scale globally with security and resilience at its core.
You’ll collaborate with cloud engineers, developers, and security testers to deliver a highly available, microservices-driven, cloud-native infrastructure.
Responsibilities- Architect & Design the internal modules: Proprietary fraud scoring engine
- AML/KYC/KYB systems
- Escrow & arbitration services
- Define technical strategy for independence from 3rd-party APIs
- Implement cloud-native, microservices architecture on AWS (preferred), Azure or GCP
- Work with the compliance & security teams to align architecture with GDPR, PSD2, NDPR, FCA/AML regulations
- Mentor cloud engineers and developers to ensure coding and deployment standards are followed
- Drive performance, scalability, and resilience testing into the architecture
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to align technical roadmap with product milestones
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect (ideally in FinTech, Cybersecurity, or SaaS)
- Deep understanding of fraud prevention, AML, KYC/KYB, or financial transaction systems
- Strong background in:
- Cloud platforms (AWS strongly preferred; Terraform/CloudFormation a plus)
- Microservices & APIs (Node.js, Python, Go, or Java stack experience)
- Data pipelines & signal processing (Kafka, Spark, or equivalent)
- Security-first design (IAM, Zero Trust, encryption at rest/in-transit, penetration readiness)
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (GDPR, ISO 27001, PCI DSS, AML directives)
- Strong leadership and communication skills to guide a distributed team of engineers
- Experience designing fraud detection or transaction monitoring systems
- Knowledge of machine learning integration for fraud scoring
- Prior experience in a startup or high-growth environment
- Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect, CISSP, CISM, TOGAF
