Youll be at the heart of our QA process , working closely with developers, users, and business stakeholders to test functionality, identify bugs, and ensure everything runs smoothly.
This role is primarily home-based ,with flexibility to attend the site when required.
About The Role
As a Test Analyst, youll play a key part in the software development life cycle by running manual and automated tests, writing test plans, and contributing to software quality across a range of systems.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Collaborating with developers and business users to identify test requirements
  • Performing stress, performance, functional, and scalability testing
  • Creating and executing manual and automated test scripts
  • Writing bug reports and test documentation
  • Participating in troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Reporting findings and providing objective feedback to development teams
  • Tracking and maintaining the progress of the testing function throughout the project lifecycle

Requirements
Qualifications, Experience & Skills:

  • Minimum of 1 year in a software testing or QA role with a solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Experience using tools such as JIRA for test tracking and bug investigation
  • High level of IT literacy and confidence using multiple systems – proficient in Excel, particularly with formulas
  • Strong attention to detail and methodical approach
  • Good documentation skills with a willingness to learn and develop
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) grade C or above in English and Maths

Desirable

  • ISTQB Foundation Certification (or equivalent)
  • Background in customer-focused environments or customer service
  • Experience in IT/software environments
