Are you a hands-on marketing generalist with experience across both paid and organic channels? Do you enjoy owning work end-to-end, spotting gaps, and making things happen without being micromanaged? Do you want to work on meaningful projects for some of the world’s most recognisable brands, and actually see your work out in the world? If that sounds like you, keep reading.
Who are we? We’re Magnetic, an independent full-service creative agency with offices in London and Istanbul, and plans to expand further. We work across brand, design, marketing, digital, events and experiences, partnering with ambitious organisations navigating complexity, change, and growth. Our client roster includes Meta (Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp), Diageo, Save the Children, and other global and scale-up brands. We’re a close-knit, senior team that values clarity, quality, and calm execution, even when things move fast.
The role (what this is really about): This is a hands-on, high-autonomy role. You will be the primary owner of marketing execution across multiple channels, working on client campaigns as well as Magnetic’s own growth and brand presence. You’ll be expected to:
- Operate confidently without over-detailed briefs
- Translate direction into action
- Spot gaps, propose solutions, and move work forward
- Balance creativity with commercial thinking
This role suits someone who enjoys responsibility, variety, and making things happen, rather than waiting to be told what to do.
Interviews: January / February. Start date: As soon as possible.
Uniqueness makes us Magnetic. Magnetic is built on diverse perspectives, curiosity, and mutual respect. We value people who bring their authentic selves to work and believe that diversity drives better thinking, creativity, and outcomes.
Plan, develop, and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns for clients, primarily across:
- Paid social (Meta, LinkedIn, Google Ads)
- Email marketing (outreach, retention, CRM campaigns)
- Organic social (Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok; exposure a plus)
Own and grow Magnetic’s own marketing presence, including:
- Social channels
- Website updates
- Credentials and case studies
- Campaigns that support new business and visibility
Manage marketing budgets responsibly, ensuring:
- Spend stays within agreed limits
- Campaigns have clear objectives and measurable outcomes
- ROI and effectiveness are visible to the business
Monitor and analyse performance, maintaining clear and simple reporting that gives leadership visibility without noise. Research topics related to Magnetic’s services, emerging trends, and growth opportunities, presenting recommendations to the leadership team. Source, coordinate, and manage external suppliers where needed, ensuring quality and value for money. Maintain effective internal communication so the wider team is aligned on marketing objectives and initiatives.
What we’re looking for: The most important thing is mindset. We’re looking for someone who brings a start-up mentality to their work: proactive, resourceful, and comfortable rolling up their sleeves. You should be a strong generalist who can move between channels and projects confidently, without sacrificing quality.
Key requirements:
- Experience in a marketing or growth-focused role (agency or in-house)
- Hands-on knowledge of paid ad platforms (Meta, LinkedIn, Google Ads)
- Experience managing organic social channels
- Familiarity with CRM and email platforms (HubSpot, Mailchimp or similar)
- Strong copywriting and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Excellent written and spoken English
Nice to have (but not essential):
- Marketing or communications-related degree
- SEO knowledge
- Experience working with creative teams or agencies
What success looks like in the first 90 days:
- Client and internal campaigns are running smoothly across paid, organic, and email
- Magnetic’s own channels are active, consistent, and on-brand
- Reporting is clear, reliable, and useful to leadership
- You’re confidently proposing ideas and improvements, not just executing tasks
Competitive salary with discretionary annual bonus. Hybrid working: 3 days in our Hoxton office, 2 days from home. High levels of responsibility and exposure to world-class brands. Clear progression opportunities as the agency grows into new markets. Private health insurance. Personal development and learning opportunities. Regular team socials, international team offsite trips and a genuinely supportive culture. 31 days holiday per year.
