Reporting to: UK Head of Engineering
We’re looking for a practical, organised Project Engineer to help deliver capital engineering projects across our UK kitchen manufacturing sites. Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and deliver capital investment (CapEx) projects across UK manufacturing sites
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
- Work closely with engineering, production, and operational teams to understand site needs and develop practical solutions
- Support the development of project scopes, technical specifications, and supplier selection
- Engage and manage OEMs, contractors, and suppliers throughout project delivery
- Monitor project progress, budgets, risks, and timelines, escalating issues where needed
- Ensure all work complies with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards
- Contribute to engineering standards, best practices, and continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
- Experience in an engineering or project‑based role within a manufacturing environment
- Exposure to capital projects such as new equipment installation, modifications, or upgrades
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with multiple stakeholders
- A structured, organised approach to planning and problem‑solving
- Good awareness of health and safety requirements in an industrial setting
- A degree in Engineering (or a related discipline) is preferred but not essential
- Familiarity with tools such as MS Project, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office
