We are a growing consultancy working with multiple client accounts across a range of industries. As search rapidly evolves toward AI-generated answers, entity-based indexing, and zero-click experiences, we are expanding our team with a dedicated AEO Specialist. This is a long-term contractor role. We are not looking for agencies or outsourced teams — we are looking for an individual specialist who wants to collaborate consistently across multiple client projects.
Role Overview
You will lead Answer Engine Optimization strategy and execution across several client websites. Your focus will be ensuring our clients' content is structured, optimized, and positioned to surface in AI-driven search results and answer-based experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute AEO strategies across multiple client accounts
- Optimize content for featured snippets, People Also Ask, AI-generated summaries, and semantic search
- Identify entity and intent-driven content opportunities
- Implement and advise on structured data/schema markup
- Improve content structure and internal linking for answer visibility
- Conduct site audits focused on answer-readiness and AI discoverability
- Collaborate with content and development teams on implementation
- Monitor and report on answer-driven visibility performance
Required Experience
- Demonstrated experience in Answer Engine Optimization or modern search optimization
- Strong understanding of how AI-driven search engines interpret and surface content
- Experience working across multiple projects or client accounts
- Ability to translate search evolution into practical website improvements
Important:
While this role is AEO-focused, prior SEO experience is essential. You should understand on-page optimization, technical fundamentals, site structure, and how websites are built and maintained.
