Role: Area Sales Manager
Reports to: National Sales Manager (Projects New Build)
Location: North London / Kent / Essex / East Anglia
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

We’re looking for a driven and commercially focused Area Sales Manager to join our B2B Projects New Build Team. In this role, you’ll be responsible for delivering volume and profitable value growth across key sectors including High-Rise/BTR, Social Housing and Regional Private Housebuilders.
You’ll take ownership of the full sales cycle within your territory, developing existing accounts, creating new opportunities and managing a strong pipeline to achieve order intake targets. Working cross-functionally, you’ll play a key role in building long-term customer relationships and delivering successful project outcomes.

What you’ll be doing:
- Develop and execute strategic account plans across your territory
- Build and expand relationships with key stakeholders at all levels
- Generate new business through structured prospecting and networking
- Manage and maintain a robust sales pipeline aligned to targets
- Qualify opportunities to ensure strong commercial and strategic fit
- Deliver order intake targets and associated sales KPIs
- Maintain accurate CRM data to support forecasting and planning
- Collaborate with Estimating to produce competitive, high-quality tenders
- Present proposals confidently to customers in face-to-face meetings
- Lead smooth project handovers post-award and support mobilisation
- Work cross-functionally with Commercial, Service and Finance teams
- Provide regular forecasts, updates and market insight
Who we’re looking for:
- Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally within projects or construction-related sectors
- Strong understanding of new build construction sales cycles
- Knowledge of High-Rise/BTR, Social Housing or Private Development markets (advantageous)
- Track record of account development and winning new business
- Experience managing long sales cycles and tender processes
- Confident communicator with strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Commercially aware with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Self-motivated, organised and target-driven
- Full driving licence with flexibility to travel and stay overnight as required
