Role Overview
At Magnet Forensics Inc, the Business Development Team is the frontline of our customers' experience. Reporting to the Director of Business Development and working closely with the Sales and Marketing teams, the Manager of Business Development (Public Safety – EMEA & APAC) is a key player in our strategic growth plans. The primary objective of this role is to execute on pipeline generation initiatives through the day‑to‑day management of the Sales Development Representatives (SDRs). The Manager of Business Development will oversee top‑of‑funnel performance in our Public Safety sector across EMEA & APAC regions, directly managing a team of 7‑10 Sales Development Representatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 7‑10 SDRs to achieve quarterly & annual pipeline generation targets
- Coordinate with Talent Acquisition to recruit, hire & onboard new SDRs
- Coach and mentor SDRs, including annual performance reviews, in pursuit of professional development & opportunities for internal advancement
- Work with our vendors to maintain & create enablement resources for SDR tools (Salesloft, Drift, DemandBase, ZoomInfo, LinkedIn)
- Maintain, develop or implement best‑practice prospecting strategies, including AI tools
- Partner with Regional Marketing leads to plan & execute marketing campaigns, including the creation of outbound email cadences
- Manage and improve upon existing pipeline generation activities related to the organization’s acquisition and expansion goals
- Measure SDR performance using tools like Salesloft & Salesforce
- Report on opportunity & pipeline creation targets using Salesforce & Clari
Qualifications
- 1‑3 years of experience building and leading a Sales Development Team towards the execution of ambitious goals
- 3+ years of success in pipeline generation roles in B2B environment (SDR, BDR, Inside Sales)
- Experience using AI programs to support daily tasks
- The ability and desire to work in a challenging environment – you’re competitive and like to get the job done
- Passion for prospecting and sales best practices
- Experience in a SaaS & B2B sales environment
- Positive and energetic phone skills, excellent listening skills and strong writing skills
- Salesforce, Salesloft, LinkedIn Navigator & ZoomInfo experience an asset

The Compensation range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. Please note that the actual compensation may vary depending on location and job‑related factors such as qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills. If the compensation structure for the role includes an incentive component (i.e. most Sales roles) the range below represents total target compensation (TTC) (base salary + variable).
