We have a vacancy in our Warehouse Team, working with our Terram team at our Maldon site (CM9 4GG). We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative to support day‑to‑day warehouse activities while maintaining high standards of health, safety and operational accuracy.
Hours: 8am – 4:30pm Mon-Fri Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out warehouse operations safely, following HSE, site and personal safety requirements.
- Maintain a clean, organised workspace in line with 5S standards and clear‑aisle policies.
- Accurately receive, store, pick, pack and dispatch goods in line with work instructions (SOPs).
- Process deliveries, customer returns and dispatch paperwork correctly.
- Operate FLT and warehouse equipment safely, completing required safety checks.
- Update warehouse systems to ensure accurate stock control and traceability.
- Book and manage UK freight consignments where required.
- Support stock takes, improvement projects and production activities as needed.
- Proactively report safety concerns, near misses and participate in safety observations.

Qualifications:
- RTITB CB Fork Lift Truck license essential.
- Bendi and bale/pole attachment experience desirable.
- Ideally 2 years’ experience in a warehouse or shop‑floor environment.
- Confident communication skills.
- Able to undertake manual handling as part of the role.
- Flexibility to support business needs.
- Fluent in reading and speaking English.
