We have a vacancy in our Warehouse Team, working with our Terram team at our Maldon site (CM9 4GG).

Responsibilities

  • Be aware of top risks in the area and be able to communicate these to others.
  • Report near misses and operate red card system when required.
  • Complete behavioural based safety observations.
  • Complete 6s reports and maintain clean, safe working area in line with 6s culture, including 100% clear aisle policy.
  • Complete equipment safety checks (for example: PIT, racking, ramps).
  • Receive deliveries and accurately complete booking in process in line with SOP’s.
  • Receive customer returns and process in line with SOP’s.
  • Prepare and load customer orders accurately and in line with SOP’s.
  • Book UK freight consignments on pallet network in line with SOP’s.
  • Complete dispatch paperwork accurately where required in line with SOP’s.
  • Remove finished stock from holding areas and locate in warehouse/storage areas ensuring Navision is updated to reflect accurate stock locations.
  • Remove scrap material from holding areas and operate waste recycling lines where required in line with SOP’s.
  • Secondary to warehouse scheduling, support production operations when required.
  • Participate in stock take activities when required.
  • Participate in departmental improvement projects.
  • Additional warehouse tasks as required by Warehouse Supervisor / business.

Qualifications

  • Education: English & maths GSCE (A-C).
  • Certifications: RTITB CB Fork Lift Truck License essential; Bendi and Bale/pole attachment experience desirable.
  • Work Experience: 2 years’ experience in a warehouse/shop floor environment.
  • Language: English.
