Responsibilities

We have a vacancy in our Warehouse Team, working with our Terram team at our Maldon site (CM9 4GG)

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Operative to support day‑to‑day warehouse activities while maintaining high standards of health, safety and operational accuracy.

  • Hours – 8am – 4:30pm Mon-Fri
  • Permanent

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out warehouse operations safely, following HSE, site and personal safety requirements
  • Maintain a clean, organised workspace in line with 5S standards and clear‑aisle policies
  • Accurately receive, store, pick, pack and dispatch goods in line with work instructions (SOPs)
  • Process deliveries, customer returns and dispatch paperwork correctly
  • Operate FLT and warehouse equipment safely, completing required safety checks
  • Update warehouse systems to ensure accurate stock control and traceability
  • Book and manage UK freight consignments where required
  • Support stock takes, improvement projects and production activities as needed
  • Proactively report safety concerns, near misses and participate in safety observations

Qualifications

Skills & Experience

  • RTITB CB Fork Lift Truck license essential
  • Bendi and bale/pole attachment experience desirable
  • Ideally 2 years’ experience in a warehouse or shop‑floor environment
  • Confident communication skills
  • Able to undertake manual handling as part of the role
  • Flexibility to support business needs.
  • Fluent in reading and speaking English
