Magna Learning Partnership (MLP) is committed to providing reliable transportation for students living outside our schoolβs catchment area, making it easier for families to choose the school that best suits their childβs needs. We are currently seeking a dedicated and responsible Shuttle Bus Driver to join our team, working afternoons during school term time. You will be responsible for safely transporting students to and from The Trafalgar School at Downton and completing any associated minibus duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate the school minibus on the afternoon route (approx. 14:45β16:45)
- Ensure the safety and wellbeing of students aged 11β18 during transit
- Work independently and unsupervised with students on board
- Maintain high standards of behaviour and professionalism
- Adhere to a scheduled timetable and demonstrate strong time management
Requirements
- A valid D1 driving licence
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively
- A strong commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of children
- Flexibility to work additional hours to support school events or activities
- Willingness to complete mandatory MiDAS training (provided)
