Group Summary: The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets. Job Responsibilities:

  • Specific Skills & Experience:
  • MAFACT processes and principals (internal training)
  • Candidates must be able to work using their own initiative, and be able to liaise with other functions and departments at all levels within the Company.
  • Have excellent literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Have an expert knowledge of Occupational, Health and Safety management systems with an emphasis on hazard identification and assessment of risks and opportunities.
  • Holds either a NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety or equivalent, Environmental qualification.
  • Ideally qualified as ISO45001/ISO14001 Internal or Lead Auditor.
  • Has basic knowledge of ISO14001 Environmental standard.
  • Technical understanding of manufacturing or engineering systems.
  • Good computer literacy skills e.g., Microsoft, Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Email.
  • Must be able to deliver a range of OH&S topics as part of annual training.
  • Ensure the implementation of the division’s Emergency Response Plan and monitor its effectiveness by undertaking drills on site at least twice a year.
