Through our robust product engineering, outstanding tooling capabilities and diverse process expertise, we continue to bring lightweight and innovative products to market.**Job Responsibilities:**Position Summary: The Facilities Engineer will be responsible for the maintenance of any facilities equipment and also manage the contractors who supply and service any of the facilities equipment. **Please note this role is for double days** Role Responsibilities: This role entails but is not limited to: • Maintenance of Door Access and Barrier Systems • Maintenance of the CCTV system • Maintenance of Fire Alarm System • Manage site security • Maintenance of Boilers • Maintenance of Welfare facilities and changing rooms • Maintenance of HV/LV supply equipment • Maintenance of Cooling Towers and Chillers • Maintenance of Water Treatment Equipment • Maintenance of Waste Water treatment Plant • Maintenance of Compressors • Maintenance of Vacuum Equipment • Maintenance of Lighting and Emergency Lighting • Maintenance of Site draining systems • Managing contractors who supply services on any of the above including cleaning contractors etc. • Maintenance of building fabric • Maintenance of Air Conditioning and air handling Systems • Managing contractors who supply services on any of the above including cleaning contractors etc. • Promote the companies HSE policies across the department and plant and adhere to all Health and Safety environmental requirements. • Introduce and undertake , preventative maintenance tasks , as required EXPERIENCE: Essential – Previous experience within the same role.• Willing to be hands on. Desirable – • Time served maintenance engineer• Time Served Electrician.• IT Skills including Microsoft Office• Knowledge of CHP / gas generator• Knowledge and use of a CMMS (Agility)• Self Starter • Knowledge of ISO 14001• Contractor Management• HV trained• Knowledge of other trade skills , plumbing , Carpentry , Gas Safe ect Personal Attributes: – Good problem solving skills.- Team player and promotes a team approach to problem solving.- Confidence to challenge the status quo.- Work collaboratively to achieve project/company goals.- Ability to work in a fast paced environment.- Good communicator both written and verbal.- Ability to work under pressure.- Organised and able to multi-task.- Proactive in approach with a “can do attitude”.- Flexibility to travel overseas infrequently.- Self-motivated.- Eligibility to work in the UK Work Environment Although this role has some office-based work required, Plant conditions necessitate exposure to heat, cold, dust, hot objects, and loud noises within our manufacturing environment.
