Group Summary: The Magna Exteriors portfolio of products includes access systems such as liftgates, exterior trim, modular systems, front-end modules including fascia, active aerodynamic systems and other lightweight structural components for automotive, commercial truck and other industrial markets. Recognized globally as an innovator in all aspects of vehicle exteriors, Magna provides everything needed, from materials development and design through manufacturing and assembly, to help automakers create sleek, state-of-the-art vehicles across the world.
Job Responsibilities:
- General IT Infrastructure background, or IT support experience
- Exceptional ability to provide technical support and resolve queries
- Experience of troubleshooting hardware devices e.g. PC’s, barcode scanners, label printers and mobile devices
- Proficient computer skills a must (Word, Excel and Visio)
- Ability to work with and manage hardware vendor returns and repairs
- Demonstrable proactive attitude
- Self-motivated and organised
- Ability to work under pressure
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent customer facing skills
Desirable:
- Previous experience in Automotive industry (any work exp)
- Previous experience of working in fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Systems exposure (SCADA/ERP/MES/PLC/linux)
- Proficiency in IT helpdesk software (E.g Matrix42 / I-Heat)
- Ability to analyse, model and interpret data through SQL or similar (Postgres)
- Knowledge of data visualisation tools (PowerBI)
- Development languages (Python/GO/Java script/HTML)
