Salary: £41,740 plus benefits and additional allowances. Field-based with regular travel across Dorset. Hours: 39 hours per week (Mon - Fri). Permanent Role.
The role & what you take care of
We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified Gas Safe registered Plumbing and Heating Engineer, with experience to join the Magna team. From the initial job report to its completion, you will play a key part in delivering works to a high standard, whilst meeting our customers’ needs and complying with current legislation. The role encompasses a diverse and rewarding working routine with great benefits, a company van, uniform and all trade relevant power tools supplied. The purpose of this role is to carry out central heating works including installation and servicing, to diagnose faults and resolve heating/plumbing related problems to a high standard. You will be required to be on call once every 10 weeks, for which you will receive a generous standby allowance.
What you need to be successful
Together with a high level of fault-finding ability & diagnostic skills, you will feel comfortable working independently or as part of a team, committed to overcoming any scenarios that may arise on a daily basis. Ideally experience of Social Housing or working in a similar environment would be advantageous, although alternative sectors will be considered. Understanding how to use a mobile iPad device together with a geographical knowledge of the Dorset & South Somerset area would be preferential. This post is subject to a basic level Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check. A full driving licence is essential.
