Position: QHSE Manager Wallasey, (CH44 7DN) with 30% travel to Bolton Monday – Thursday, 08:30 – 17:15 and Friday 08:30 - 13:00.
Responsibilities include:
- Contributing to fully integrated and flexible operations to provide good customer service.
- Maintaining and reviewing Health & Safety policy & procedures of the company.
- Understanding and being committed to equalities and diversity, respecting others’ values and beliefs, and treating others with dignity and respect.
- Conducting regular appraisal interviews with all staff to address personal development needs and produce a training and development plan for the company.
- Collating and reporting on packaging data in accordance with EPR (with compliance scheme).
- Writing, organising, and delivering Toolbox Talks and other training as necessary.
- Performing annual QHSE management system reviews.
- Reporting, monitoring, investigating, and preventing accidents, incidents, and near misses.
- Planning and performing Risk Assessments.
- Maintaining legislation requirements (Health, Safety and Environment).
- Performing periodic HSE audits and inspections.
- Managing contractors on site – Inductions / PTW / RAMS.
- Liaising with external contractors for inspection/testing/calibration of site manufacturing equipment, including LOLER, PAT Testing, LEV, Noise and Air Monitoring, health surveillance.
NEBOSH qualification – Essential. Ability to meet project deadlines/KPIs.
