Position: QHSE Manager Wallasey, (CH44 7DN) with 30% travel to Bolton Monday – Thursday, 08:30 – 17:15 and Friday 08:30 - 13:00
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to fully integrated and flexible operations to provide good customer service.
- Maintain and review Health & Safety policy & procedures of the company.
- Understand and be committed to equalities and diversity, respecting others’ values and beliefs.
- Conduct regular appraisal interviews with all staff to address personal development needs and produce a training and development plan for the company.
- Collate and report on packaging data in accordance with EPR (with compliance scheme).
- Write, organise and deliver Toolbox Talks and other training as necessary.
- Perform annual QHSE management system reviews.
- Report, monitor, investigate and prevent accidents, incidents and near misses.
- Plan and perform Risk Assessments.
- Maintain legislation requirements (Health, Safety and Environment).
- Perform periodic HSE audits and inspections.
- Manage contractors on site – Inductions / PTW / RAMS.
- Liaise with external contractors for inspection/testing/calibration of site manufacturing equipment, including LOLER, PAT Testing, LEV, Noise and Air Monitoring, health surveillance.
