Become a Maglian Representative — Building Our International Network (DACH, UK, Benelux, France, Poland & Romania)

About Maglian

Maglian is the only specialised venue for corporate team retreats in Serbia and South-East Europe. We're not a hotel — we're a host-led team experience. When a company books Maglian, they get the entire venue exclusively for their group: 50 rooms, capacity for up to 100 guests, dedicated meeting spaces, an onsite restaurant with home-cooked local food, a heated pool, nature trails, and full day-and-night team-building programming — all set in a biophilic-designed forest environment 75 minutes from Belgrade Airport. We've hosted 300+ events for 200+ clients, primarily international companies from the UK, DACH, and Russian-speaking markets.

The Opportunity

We're building out our international representative network and looking for independent sales agents to become Maglian's local representatives in their market. We're specifically growing our presence in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, the UK (London), the Netherlands, Belgium, France, Poland, and Romania. This isn't a one-off sales gig — we're looking for people who want to grow into the long-term face of Maglian in their region, as we scale our representative network market by market. You'll be selling a genuinely strong product: a premium, fully-buyout venue at 40–50% lower cost than comparable retreats in Croatia, Portugal, Spain, or Italy — with a 300+ event track record that makes it an easy "yes" once a prospect sees it.

What You’ll Do

  • Act as Maglian's local representative in your market — the go-to contact for corporate clients and agencies in your region.
  • Prospect and build relationships with potential clients, MICE and travel Agencies, HR/People Ops leaders, Office Managers, EAs, and founders at remote-first companies and mid-size businesses (ideal group size: 20–100 people) that run regular team retreats or offsites.
  • Qualify leads — we only care about prospects with a real, upcoming event need (a confirmed or near-confirmed date), not vague interest.
  • Present Maglian (we'll equip you with materials, case studies, testimonials, and reviews).
  • Manage the relationship through to a signed booking, working closely with our team on proposals and logistics.
  • Keep your pipeline updated in HubSpot (CRM access provided).
  • Help us understand and adapt to your local market as we grow our footprint there.

What We’re Looking For

  • Based in or with an active professional network in DACH, UK, Benelux, France, Poland, or Romania.
  • Experience in B2B sales, event/MICE sales, travel/hospitality sales, or corporate incentive/retreat sales strongly preferred.
  • Fluent English required; German, French, Dutch, Polish, or Romanian a strong plus depending on your target market.
  • Self-starter comfortable working independently and remotely, managing your own pipeline.
  • Existing network among corporate event organisers, HR/People Ops professionals, remote-first tech companies, or event/incentive agencies is a major advantage.
  • Interest in building a long-term representative role in your market, not just a short-term sales push.
  • Understanding that this is a relationship - and trust-driven sale - event organisers value safety, track record, and responsiveness over novelty.

Compensation

  • Commission-only, and it's genuinely generous — we reward the agents who bring us qualified, closed business, and we're not cheap about it.
  • Full commission structure and rates shared directly with shortlisted candidates.
  • Uncapped earning potential — the more buyouts you close, the more you earn, with no ceiling.
  • Paid per confirmed and completed booking.

Why Maglian

  • A product that sells itself once seen — 300+ events, strong reviews on Google and Booking.com, and a clear price-to-quality advantage over Western European alternatives.
  • Full-service venue — you're not selling separate accommodation, catering, and activities; it's one simple package.
  • Family-owned, fast-moving company — direct access to decision-makers, quick turnaround on proposals and quotes.
  • Growing international demand as companies look for regional alternatives to high-cost Western European venues.
  • Ground-floor opportunity to become the established local representative as we build out our network market by market.
  • Flexible, remote, independent role — work your own hours and network.
