Science Teacher – Alternative Provision
Location: Ilford, East London
The Role
- Teaching Science across KS3 and/or KS4
- Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
- Supporting students with SEMH and additional learning needs
- Creating a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
- Working closely with pastoral and support staff to promote positive outcomes
The Ideal Candidate
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent experience
- Experience working in Alternative Provision, PRUs, or SEN settings (desirable but not essential)
- Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, consistent approach
- Passionate about inclusive education and student progress
- Adaptable, patient, and committed to supporting vulnerable learners
