Science Teacher – Alternative Provision

Location: Ilford, East London

The Role

• Teaching Science across KS3 and/or KS4
• Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
• Supporting students with SEMH and additional learning needs
• Creating a safe, structured, and supportive learning environment
• Working closely with pastoral and support staff to promote positive outcomes

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent experience
• Experience working in Alternative Provision, PRUs, or SEN settings (desirable but not essential)
• Strong behaviour management skills and a calm, consistent approach
• Passionate about inclusive education and student progress
• Adaptable, patient, and committed to supporting vulnerable learners
