SEN Teaching Assistant role – Mainstream Primary School, Northolt, Full time
Magisters Education are working with a wonderful mainstream primary school in Northolt, UB5 who are actively looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant on a long-term, full-time basis from January. You will be supporting a child with special educational needs on a 1:1 basis.
Location: Northolt, UB5
Start Date: January 2026
Role: SEN Teaching Assistant – supporting a child on a 1:1 basis with SEN
Contract: Full-time, 5 days per week (until July 2026 initially, potential permanent from September 2026)
Hours: 8.30am – 3.30pm
Salary: £85–£100 per day
Key Responsibilities:
- Support a child with special educational needs to access learning and engage in classroom activities.
- Adapt tasks, resources, and instructions to suit individual learning needs.
- Reinforce learning through guided practice, repetition, and positive encouragement.
- Support pupils’ communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation.
