Level 3 Nursery Practitioner / Nursery Assistant - Independent School, West Kensington Location: West Kensington, W14 Salary: £150 per day / £20 per hour Contract: Full-time, Temporary to Permanent Start Date: ASAP Hours: 7:30am–3:30pm / 10:00am–6:00pm, on a rotating basis About the Role A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a well-established independent school in West Kensington (W14), which is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner / Nursery Assistant on a temp-to-perm basis. Working within the school's Early Years provision, you will support babies and toddlers aged 0–3, helping to provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment where children can learn, develop and thrive. Key Responsibilities * Supporting the care, learning and development of children aged 0–3 * Creating a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment * Supporting children's play and early learning activities * Assisting with daily routines, including meals, personal care and sleep routines * Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues * Observing and supporting children's individual development and progress * Working effectively as part of a supportive Early Years team * Following the school's safeguarding, health and safety and welfare procedures About You The successful candidate will: * Hold a Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare or an equivalent recognised qualification * Have previous experience working in a nursery or Early Years setting * Be confident working with babies and toddlers aged 0–3 * Have a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development * Be caring, patient, reliable and enthusiastic * Have excellent communication and teamwork skills * Be flexible and happy to work both 7:30am–3:30pm and 10:00am–6:00pm shifts on rotation * Be available to start ASAP What the School Offers * Supportive and welcoming independent school environment * Smaller staff-to-child ratios * Excellent transport links * Free lunch provided for all staff * Opportunity to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period How to Apply If you are a qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner / Nursery Assistant looking for a new opportunity in West Kensington and are available to start ASAP, we would love to hear from you
